Sometimes we just have to go ghost while we figure out life...

Ladies!!! Oh my gosh, it has been soooo long, I know! So much has happened in so little time, and I would need 50 or so blog posts to detail it all, so I'll try to catch you all up while focusing on on the present and looking forward.

Any who, as you may or may not know, I have graduated with my masters and have also procured a job as a School Counselor! Liiiike I literally made my dream come true! There is so much to say about that time, and I literally don't know where to start, so I won't (for now). We are on and upward! I am still in my THAT Girl Era and want to share where I am in with life, learning, love, and everything in between. But where do I start? With an amazing question that a friend of mine posed.

While mindlessly scrolling on Facebook (of course), I saw a post that asked, "What four things can you do right now to change your life?" This was such a thought-provoking question and one that had me really sitting down with my pen and paper in deep thought like I was Carrie Bradshaw or somebody, LOL. I think this question piqued my interest so much because it focused on WHAT I CAN DO to change my life--not what could happen in my life that would result in a big change in my life.

With this question, I had to look internally as opposed to externally. For example, one of the biggest things I can do to change my life is BECOME MORE ORGANIZED. Planning and preparation has such a domino effect on my day/week/life for the better and for the worse. Organization, planning, and preparation determines whether or not I will have to rush in the mornings. It determines whether or not I'll go to work without a lunch. It determines whether or not I'll be able to do things I want to do on any given day. It allows me more free time, and even helps me sleep better! Most importantly, however, I realized that for me, being organized reduces and eliminates potential STRESS! If there is no other reason for me to learn to become a more organized person, THIS IS THE ONE! So. In addition to blogging about my daily life, I'll be sharing tools that have helped me become more organized and prepared for success, going more in depth about the other things I decided to focus on in order to change my life, and all of the other THAT GIRL business in between, with the hopes of inspiring ladies to live their best life, keep on working towards her higher self, and focusing on all-things personal development.

In the meantime, I hope some of you are challenged to think about the same. Take a moment to ask what can you do to change your life.

After all, it is in your hands.

Written with love,

S.S.
